Because Livejournal has not kept up with the times, I have moved away from posting here in favor of doing so on my own site, where I can get the functionality I expect in this day and age. You can read more details in my original post on the subject.

The cat in my main user icon is a detail of a piece by Louis Wain, a British artist who lived from 1860 through the early 1900s. He did some really amazing work, a must-see for any cat lover. I particularly like this picture because this cat reminds me of one of my own cats. No, I'm not a furry.
